Originally from Tasmania, Marc began playing to audiences while in the USA in the San Francisco area.
Subsequently in Auckland he has played with several bands, including the blues bands Bullet and Freight.
He is known for his unusual system of stringing and tuning the guitar. As a player of harmonica, guitar and slide guitar, his talents are particularly well suited to the blues idiom.
On the other hand, he is not a blues purist and is equally at home when playing other popular forms of music.
